GURULE -- Mary G. Gurule, 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday night, December 9, 2003, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 3, 1923, and was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 62 years, Ramon Gurule Sr.; sons, Ramon Gurule, Jr. and wife, Maria P.; and Larry P. Gurule; granddaughter, Lisa Juarros and husband, David; grandsons, Roman Gurule and wife, Rochelle and expected son, Jude, due in January 2004; and Duane Gurule. She has four great-grandchildren who brought her tremendous joy and laughter, Miranda and Alejandro Juarros; Xzavier and Gabriel Gurule. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Angelita Garcia; brothers, Julian and Miguel Garcia. Mary is survived by her siblings, Jenny Agpalsa, Stanton, CA; Pat Haslett and husband, Robert, Peralta, NM; Lucy San Martin and husband, Mauro; Josephine Torres; Emily Chavez; Irene Morris and husband, Pete; Connie Brill and husband, Arthur; Linda Taylor and husband, Tim; brother, John Garcia and wife, Loretta, all of Albuquerque; and sisters-in-law, Mercedes Garcia, Denver, CO and Rebecca Garcia, Albuquerque. She has numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Floral Chapel of Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Burial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
