GARCIA -- S. Garcia, 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 10, 2003, at the home of her son Art, where she has lived for the past 3 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Leandro, her son Joe F., and infant twin daughters. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her sons, Louie of Ozark, AL, Jesse and wife Anna Mae, Art and wife Joyce, all of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Mary Crespin and husband Max of Tucumcari, NM, Jennie Casaus and husband Ernest of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law Lorraine Garcia of Grand Junction, CO; 16 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren, 2 great- great granddaughters. Her brother Alfredo Sanchez and wife Anita of Santa Rosa, NM; sister Julia Aragon of Clovis, NM; sister Clarita Medina of Bernalillo, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. Grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Ricardo Ortega and Eileen McInerny RN for their exceptional care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2003 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2003, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ann?s Catholic Church in Tucumcari.
