LODEN -- Charles Edward Loden, 74 and a resident of Belen for the past five years, passed away on December 6, 2003 in Albuquerque. Chuck worked for Los Lunas Schools as a special needs bus driver for the past five years. He truly loved his job and working with his "special kids." He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. Chuck is survived by his wife, Helen Jean Loden; stepmother, Daisy Lanzarotta; daughter, Rose Mary Loden; and stepchildren, Donald Bryant, Karen Nahum and husband, Paul, Terry Bryant, and Sabrina Bryant. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Bob Loden and wife Janet of Clinton, IN, Rex Loden and wife Karen of Cayuga, IN, Janie Mertz and husband Allen of Rossville, IL, Linda Corley and husband Jim, Patricia Phillips and husband Earl, Diane McDaniel and husband Verne, and Rita Hayes and husband Brian, all of Danville, IN; four grandchildren, Kyla Bryant, Eli, Naomi and Yosef Nahum; and many nieces and nephews. Inurnment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2003 at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
