RIVERA -- Mary Helen Rivera, 63, a longtime resident of Corona, NM, passed away, Sunday November 2, 2003, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born May 27, 1940, in Corona, NM, to Jacinto and Elvira (Baros) Flores. She married Ismael Rivera in Corona, NM, on January 11, 1958. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Ismael Rivera, of Corona, NM; two sons Rick and wife Joan Rivera, of Albuquerque, NM, and James Rivera, of Corona, NM; one daughter Marietta Rivera Gallegos and husband Louis Lopez of Phoenix, AZ; best friend Jessie Garcia; four sisters, Amelia Maldonado, Odellia Tapia, Betty Rael, and Jean Chavez; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. A rosary will be recited Tuesday Nov. 4, 2003-7:00 PM & Mass will be celebrated Wednesday November 5, 2003-10:00 AM, both at Ascension Catholic Church, in Albuquerque, NM. Burial will follow at the Corona Cemetery in Corona, NM. Pallbearers will be Jarrod Gallegos, Jason Gallegos, Eric Gallegos, Joey Rivera, Larry Chavez, Randy Maldonado, and Pat Sanchez.
