SANCHEZ -- Mr. Rumaldo G. Sanchez died Monday, October 27, 2003 in Bosque Farms at the age of 79. Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Virginia Sanchez; son, Gilbert Sanchez; and two brothers, Roque and Richard Sanchez. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Corine Sanchez of Bosque Farms; daughter, Jo Ana S. Fields (Jo Ana Sanchez, MD) and husband, Luke, Vernon, TX; two sons, Robert Sanchez, and Tom Sanchez and wife, Bertha, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Charlotte Vallejos, Lucy S. Montano, both of Albuquerque, and Angie Cordova and husband, Tony of Towsend, Montana; brother, Tony Sanchez of Albuquerque; and five grandchildren. A Rosary for Mr. Sanchez will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Herman Baca, Carlos Chavez, Tony Cordova, Gavino Herrera, Manny Pacheco and Max Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Avila and Bobby Chavez.
