DOLL -- Rod H. Doll, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, passed away on October 22, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley M. Doll of Albuquerque; children, Mike Doll and wife, Anna of Georgia, Jeff Doll and wife, Peggy of New Mexico, Gary Doll of California and Robin Doll-Tellez and husband, Steve of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Rod is also survived by his sister, Geraldine Witt of Iowa and brother, Steve Doll of Arizona. He served as a Paratrooper in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne, during WWII. Rod spent the majority of his life working in traffic safety and was the owner of the New Mexico Driving School, specializing in adults with special needs. Service will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Pastor Patricia Holman, officiating. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Foundation, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE or to a charity of your choice. Rod's family would like to give special thanks to Manor Care Sandia and their staff for the outstanding care and affection shown to him and his family during this time.
