LUCERO -- Raymundo M. Lucero, age 67, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Monday, October 6, 2003. Ray was born in Bernalillo, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sigfredo and Beatrice Lucero; a brother, Dickie Lucero. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Amantina Lucero of the family home; his children, Raymundo Jr. and wife Sandra of Rio Rancho, Billy of Albuquerque, Joe and wife Rose Mary of Albuquerque, Martin and wife Liz of Walnut Creek, CA, David and fiancee, Donna of Albuquerque, Debra Chavez and husband, Michael of Rio Rancho, Grace Lucero and Fiance, Willie Martinez of Rio Rancho, Lisa Pino and husband, Gilbert of Bernalillo; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother, Tommy Lucero; sisters, Lucilla Castillo and husband, Beltran, Rita Valdez both of Bernalillo; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Ray will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations for Ray will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. also at the church.
