BRANSON -- Esther Branson, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, October 3, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Chuck Branson of Albuquerque; daughters, Nancy Martin of Roseville, CA and Kathy Doles and husband Paul of Seattle, WA; son, Tom Branson and wife Carla of Albuquerque, NM; 9 grandchildren, Tammy and partner Donny, Nicholas and wife Casey, Betsy and husband Mike, Meghann, Willy and wife Aimee, Angela and husband Shane, Jeremy, Summer and husband Jim, Cheri and husband Mike; 10 great-grandchildren, Katarina, Jade Corrie, Chris, Aubrianna, Travis, Shea, Nicole, Laura, Brian and Justin; brother, James Herbert Leach and wife Norma of Denver, CO and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Street and brother-in-law, Edwin Street. She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1921. She served during WWII in the United States Army at Los Alamos, NM. Upon her discharge she moved to Albuquerque. For many years she worked at Lukens Real Estate as a receptionist. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and played in the hand bell choir for 19 years. A celebration of her life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain NE, 87111 on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Luther Mathsen and Pastor Russell C. Lee officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of New Mexico, 5736 Osuna Rd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109 or Temple De Hirsch Sinai, 1511 E. Pike, Seattle, WA 98122. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
