CHESNUT -- Roy N. Chesnut, 83 a resident of Albuquerque for 39 years, died Thursday, September 11, 2003 after a long illness. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Weinlein and husband, John of Cedar Crest, NM; son, Richard Chesnut and wife, Cindy of Arlington, TX; sisters, Juanita Martin of West Plains, MO, and Anna Jane Roe of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Tiffany, Paul, Brittany, Sharon and Kirt; three great-grandchildren, Stasia, Justine and Skylar; numerous nieces, nephews, and special Chesnut and Schiller in-laws; and many dear friends. Roy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances; three brothers, Gene, Chuck, John; and sister, Melba. Roy has been taken to be buried next to his wife in Grundy Center, IA. Roy was a salesman and manager for the Fuller Brush Co. in his early years in four states, Iowa, Nevada, Texas and New Mexico until he retired after 25 years with the company. For several years after, he sold commercial advertising and then managed apartments for six years. In his later years, he sold Chem Guard protection products until his official retirement in November 1997 at age 77. He was a special husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed and loved by all.
