GANTT -- Bobby Ray Gantt, 52, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Lana Gantt of Albuquerque; son, Bobby Ray Gantt, Jr. of Fletcher, OK; daughters, Caitlin Gantt of Fletcher, OK, Shannone Gantt-Rivera and husband, Marty of Chama, NM, and Shonda Fulfer and husband, Ron of Moriarty; step-son, Chris Buckman and wife, Carrie of Myrtle Beach, SC; and step-daughter, Nikki Hicks of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren, Cody, Dillion, Dustin, Tyler, Hailey, Jonathon, Neil and Donavon; brothers, Larry Gantt and wife, Sue and Eddy Gantt and wife, Brenda, all of Albuquerque; sister, Virginia Alvis and husband, Kenneth of Albuquerque; nieces, Danielle Alvis and Ashley Gantt, both of Albuquerque; a large extended family; and friends who will all miss him greatly. Mr. Gantt graduated from and played football for West Mesa High School in the late sixties. He was an avid racing fan. Mr. Gantt worked at Ortiz Car and RV Lot. Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Dale Chambers and Rev. Rob Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Larry Gantt, Eddy Gantt, Chris Gantt, Beau Gantt, Willis Johnson and Steve Lakey. Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Fowler, David Ortiz, Lonnie Smith and Pete Golden.
