Sanchez -- Perfetita Romero Sanchez, 83, passed into the arms of the Lord on July 1, 1998. A resident of Albuquerque, formerly of Cuba, NM, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Benjamin Sanchez. She leaves one sister, Chonita Casaus of Bernalillo. Our Beloved Mother leaves two sons, Ubaldo and Alex Sanchez; and four daughters, Ruth Muniz and husband, Gilbert, Susan Barrera and husband, Adam, Theresa Perez and husband, Lorenzo, and Joann Sanchez-Frazee and husband, Mark. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m. and Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., both will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, 400 Mildred Ave NW, by Fr. Lazaro Cuesta, S.F. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Albert Herren and grandsons, Ben Sanchez, Richard Muniz, Adam Barrera, Carlos Perez and Paul Frazee. Funeral arrangements by Metropolitan Direct Burial.
