Esquibel -- Mr. Barney Esquibel, age 80, died Wednesday, in Albuquerque. Mr. Esquibel was a member of the Church of the Risen Savior. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He served with the ETO 95th Division, 379 Company, Iron Men of Metz. Mr. Esquibel was preceded in death by his son, Gene; daughter, Anne Bernadette; and granddaughter, Mary Beth. He is survived by his wife, Lucille H. Esquibel; son, Richard Esquibel; granddaughter, Sara Fox and husband, John, of Marlborouth, England; brothers, Silvestre Esquibel and Medardo Esquibel, all of Albuquerque; and sisters, Bennie De Geer of San Francisco, CA, Femia Bustamante and husband, Jim of Santa Fe, NM, Marian Esquibel and Ruth Esquibel, both of Albuquerque. Funeral Services for Mr. Esquibel will be held on Tuesday at the Church of the Risen Savior where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. by Father Paul Baca. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marty Esquivel, Dennis Baca, Louie Lovato, Joe Peralta, Leo Lovato and Jimmy Gutierrez. Honorary pallbearers will be John Fox, Sudhir Puri, Louie Peralta and Walter Ramazzini. Visitation for Mr. Esquibel will be held on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00P.M. and on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. at the Church of the Risen Savior. Arrangements by the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St. S.W.
