Blea -- Jose R. Blea, 83, a resident of Albuquerque most of his life, died Monday, August 24, 1998. He is survived by his sons, Rosendo A. Blea of Albuquerque, Richard E. Blea of California, Manuel J. Blea of Nevada, and James R. Blea of California; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Librado Blea of Cedar Crest; and sister, Alice Blea of Albuquerque. Mr. Blea was preceded in death by his wife, Josephita Trujeque Blea; and his daughter, Feliz P. Blea. he was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Mr. Blea was an active member of Pajarito and Armijo Senior Citizen Centers. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Tibo Chavez reciting. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 9:00 a.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, with Monsignor Joaquin Bazan, Celebrant. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rosendo A. Blea, Victor Blea, William Montoya, Steve Montoya, Lloyd Aragon and Dave Hanley. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
