Woodard -- Dennis Eugene Woodard, 49, a resident of Socorro for 24 years, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 1998. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Debbie Woodard; daughter, Gina Woodard-Kasky; son, Joel Woodard; grandchildren, Justin and Katie Kasky; mother, Gretchen Woodard-Sowards; sister, Patricia Nagy; and brother, Ronald Woodard. Dennis grew up in Albuquerque, graduated from the University of New Mexico, and later, became a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. Dennis used his education in the capacity of ordained ministry, touching the lives of many of us. He devoted his life to missionary work in the Rio Grand Valley, serving with the American Missionary Fellowship. Dennis was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and we will miss his warmth and support. He left us to be with his Savior Jesus Christ. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE, with Pastor Tom Nagy and Rev. Gregg Horst officiating. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens.
