Randall -- Dulcinea B. Randall, 90, a longtime Fort Sumner, NM resident, died Thursday evening, August 13, 1998 at Mission Manor in Albuquerque following an illness. Mrs. Randall was born March 7, 1908 in La Loma, NM to the home of Gregorio Baros and the former Candida Aragon. She was reared and attended schools in De Baca County at Guadalupe and Ricardo. She married Clint Randall in 1929 in Ricardo, NM. They made their home in Fort Sumner. Mrs. Randall was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church in Fort Sumner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clint Randall in 1965; two children, Bernardino Randall and Mary Lou Randall; a brother, Alfredo Baros; and three sisters, Pomposa Montano, Rosa Olivas, and Judy Griego. Survivors include four daughters, Vivian and husband, Frank Padilla of Santa Fe, Lucille Shupla of Aztec, NM, JoAnn Hurtado of La Crescenta, CA, Irene Ortiz of Albuquerque; step-daughter, Willie Mae and husband, Ted Schmidli of Portland, OR; one son, Josh Randall of Fort Sumner; and a step-son, Louis and wife, Marion Randall of Klamath Falls, OR. Also surviving are two brothers, Erminio Baros of Chicago, IL and Antonio Baros of Denver, CO; a sister, Amelia Sanchez of Dilia, NM; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchilden, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Rosary services were held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, from the Chavez Funeral Home in Fort Sumner, NM, a second Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 1998, from St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fort Sumner. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the church at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 1998, with Father Sotero A. Sena, Celebrant of the Mass. Burial will follow in the Randall family plot, Fort Sumner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Ortiz, Michael Padilla, Clint Randall, Bonnie Archuleta, Eddie Pena, and Greg Sanchez. Honorary bearers will be Adan Griego and Ray Mathisan. Arrangements entrusted to Chavez Funeral Home, 804 N. Fifth Street, Fort Sumner, New Mexico, (505) 355-2311.
