Duran -- Joseph Randy, 19 (March 20, 1979) of Alameda passed away Sunday, September 6, 1998. He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Angie Duran of Alameda; his brothers, Ronnie Duran, Jr., and his wife, Melissa of Albuquerque and Carlos Duran of Alameda; his two sons, Joseph Duran, Jr., and Tomas Duran of Alameda and his girlfriend, Carmen Sanchez. Also surviving is his niece, Alexis Duran; his grandparents, Tomas and Elisa Gonzales and Mary Duran; his aunts and uncle, Tommy Gonzales, Jr., Ramona Chavez, Rita Cordova, Eileen Tafoya and husband, Ben P. Tafoya, Rachel Gutierrez and husband, Steve; and cousins. He graduated from Del Norte High School in 1997. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Final viewing will be at 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Tommy Gonzales, Jr., Steve Gutierrez, Jr., Daniel R. Chavez, Scott Douglas, Gabriel Chavez and Ramon Tafoya. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Gutierrez, Ivan Cave and Daniel Baldonado. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Services entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, Nobert Baldonado Jr. FSI.
