Romero -- Alex J. Romero, 24, devoted and beloved husband, father, son, and brother, was called home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, September 1, 1998. Alex was born in Albuquerque and resided in Alamogordo, NM. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudia; sons, Andrew Romero, Julian Mendoza; parents, Ronald and Theresa Romero; brothers, Jerry, Ronald Jr., Joseph, Issac; sister, Theresa Marie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was a very family-oriented man who loved playing softball, baseball, and wrestling. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4 at Sears Alamogordo Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 1998 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 705 Delaware Ave., Alamogordo, NM.
