Griffin -- Susie Griffin, age 46, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 2, 1998. She worked for Los Alamos County for 25 years. She attended Los Alamos High School, where she graduated in 1970 and met her lifelong love, Gary. Susie was a gifted and talented woman. She enjoyed ceramics, needlepoint, her birds and pets, and giving to her family and friends. She loved to laugh. The family appreciates the love and support of our friends and encourages those who feel a need to contact us. Susie is survived by her husband, Gary Griffin; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Travis Olbert; parents, Jack and Miriam Neff; sister and brother-in-law and nieces, Lisa, Greg, Samantha, Robyn and Kristina Heimer; brother and sister-in-law, Keith, Kris, Alicia and Suzanne Neff; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin, Renee, Savannah and Chandler Neff; father and mother-in-law, Virgil and Reta Griffin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law and nieces, Keith, Missy, Cassandra and Caitlyn Griffin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law and nephews, Wayne, Candi, Caleb, Joshua and Ryan Griffin; and many, many other loving family members and many, many special friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Los Alamos. Arrangements are under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 1399 Luisa, Santa Fe, 984-8600.
