Gonzales -- Rosarito Gonzales, 83, a resident of Bernalillo since 1951, died Wednesday, September 2, 1998. She is survived by her sons, Frank Chavez and wife, Georgina and Daniel Garcia and wife, Dorothy, all of Bernalillo; grandchildren, Mark Chavez and wife, Nikki, Tommie Chavez, Frances Garcia and husband, Johnny, Sharon Gutierrez and husband, Steven, and Ruth Alvarez and husband, Ralph; great-grandchildren, Isacc, J.D., Eugene, Christopher, and Alexis; sister, Ester Armijo; brother, Clofas Gonzales; and other family members. Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 2001 Camino del Pueblo, in Bernalillo, with Charles Aguilar reciting. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, with Father Vigil Furfaro, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Chavez, Johnny Garcia, Steven Gutierrez, Ralph Alvarez, Martin Valencia, and Amalio Aranda. Mrs. Gonzales' great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
