Chavarria -- The family and friends of Christopher Gene Chavarria will be saying good-bye on Thursday, September 3, 1998, 12:00 noon, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW. God called Christopher home early Monday morning. Christopher left behind his parents, Gene and Nellie Chavarria; his brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Joyce of Albuquerque; his brother, Jerry and sister-in-law, Virginia of Waterloo, NY; and sister, Lee of San Diego, CA have arrived at the family home. Christopher was not only a good son and loving brother, but also a generous and loved uncle and great-uncle to his nieces and nephews, Adam, Dasha, Nathaniel, Jeanie and Jerry Jr. He will also leave behind his best friend, Gary Bearly of Albuquerque. Final good-bye will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery immediately following. The family suggests casual attire. Hillcrest Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE. 265-5959.
