Molde -- Richard L."Bud" Molde, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died peacefully Sunday, May 17, 1998. He was born December 30, 1914 in Little Falls, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Nellie Molde; and sister, Mildred Pikus. He is survived by sisters, Violet Super, Betty Zobroski and Shirley Molde of Minnesota; his wife of 61 years, Norma; sons, Michael, husband of Masumi of Sasebo, Japan, Bruce, husband of Linda of Albuquerque, and Bradley of Northamptonshire, England; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1941 to 1945 and was a member of the American Legion in Little Falls, MN. He came to Albuquerque as warehouse supervisor of Pittsburgh Paint & Glass and was employed at Cardinal Fence Company from which he retired in 1980. He was P.E.R. of the Santa Fe BPOE #460 and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 21, 3:00 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE, with Pastor Larry Wright officiating. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to The American Parkinson Disease Association, 116 John St., New York, NY 10038 or St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
