Frohn -- Lloyd Thomas Frohn, 66, of Moriarty, NM, passed away Friday, May 8, 1998 at his home. Lloyd was born August 8, 1931 in Vinton, Iowa to Thomas William II and Mildred Frohn. Lloyd married Jennie Romero on December 16, 1950 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was a resident of Moriarty for the last four years, formerly of Denver, CO, and was a member of the Moriarty Church of Christ. Lloyd was a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for 23 years. He was a Master Sergeant, Nuclear Weapons Supervisor and Technical Instructor who served during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired in 1972 with an Honorable Discharge. Lloyd loved and cherished his family and friends and will be missed deeply. Survivors include his wife, Jennie R. Frohn of their home in Moriarty, NM; three sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas William Frohn and wife, Nancy of West Minster, CO, Robert Dean Frohn of Tampa, FL, and James R. Frohn of Moriarty, NM; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Dee and husband, Craig Sadberry of Moriarty, NM; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Edna Frohn; and one sister, Margaret Dyer. Also survived by six grandchildren, Thomas, Kirsta, Dustin, Nina, Crystal and Cody. Lloyd was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Lee Dawson April 1, 1989, she was married to Richard Dawson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. at The Moriarty Church of Christ with John Booth officiating. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Pallbearers will be Garth Mathes, Robert Frohn, James Frohn, Craig Sadberry, Dustin Sadberry, and Joe Abril. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM 832-6130.
