Chavez -- Vidal"Billy" Chavez, 65, beloved husband of Margaret (Margie) Chavez, passed away on May 8, 1998. They had been married 44 years. He is survived by his six children. Daughters, Janet Torres and husband, Gilbert, Bernadette Bustillos and husband, Chino, Elizabeth and Joey La Cour; sons, David, Leroy and wife, Kim, and Robert and wife, Pauline; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Erlinda Lopez, Lupe Duran and husband, Hernando, Carmen and Mike Gutierrez, and Tiana Jojola; brothers, Danny, Daniel and Leo Montoya and wife, Tommy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at San Jose Catholic Church. A Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 1998. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 1998. Burial will follow at Los Padillas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lino Baca, Frank Moya, Nick Montoya, Frank"Kiko" Amador, Bobby Gonzales and Max Aragon. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Ramirez, Frank"Pancho" Zamora, Orlando Lucero, and Henry Gallegos. Arrangements by Direct Services, 4501 4th St. NW. 343-8008.
