Sandoval -- Edwina E. Sandoval, 71, beloved and devoted Mother, Grandmother and Sister was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 18, 1998. She was born August 3, 1927 in San Pedro, NM to Andres and Dulcinea Martinez; a resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Sandoval, Sister Rosie Garcia. Mrs. Sandoval is survived by her sons, Reynaldo and wife, Precilla Sandoval, and Leonard Sandoval, Ernest Sandoval and Charles Valdez; four daughters, Dulicina Vigil and husband, Rudy, Diana Saavedra, Carmen Griego and husband, Mike, Antoninette Sais; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Antonio Martinez, Joe Martinez, and Lalo Archibeque. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Torreon, NM. Interment will follow at the Torreon Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Jason Saavedra, Anthony Sais, Christopher Vigil, Thomas Sandoval, Andres Sandoval and James Sais.
