Montoya -- Justo Montoya, 84, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, November 14, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beatrice Montoya of Albuquerque; sister, Rose Davis and husband, Fred, of Albuquerque; aunt, Mrs. Joe Torres, Sr. and family of Albuquerque; brothers-in-law, Joe Maldonado and friend, Casimira Martinez, and Juan Maldonado and wife, Charlotte, all of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Josephine Montoya of Rio Rancho; nieces, Annette Turk and family, Dolores Herrera and husband, Ofimiano, Clare Blackwell and family, and Marcela Gildchrist, all of Albuquerque; nephew, Sonny Maldonado of Albuquerque; and many other loving nephews and nieces. Mr. Montoya was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was also a member of American Legion Post #13 and San Ignacio Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Monday, 5:00 p.m., at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter NE. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at San Ignacio Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary Monday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
