Mercado -- Elizalde, Oliva, 93, passed away on October 26, 1998. Born in Amanlco de Becerra, Mexico and followed her son to the United States 40 years ago. She was a member of the Legion of Mary and a Curillista and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She is survived by her son, Jesus and wife, Celia Mercado; and seven grandchildren, Jose and wife, Danette, Martin, Maria, Lorena, Susie and husband, Nevie, Sergio and wife, Elizabeth and Albert; and five great-grandchildren; five sisters; and one brother of Mexico City and many other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. The Rosary will then be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Direct Services, 343-8008.
