Earl -- M.L."Mike" Earl, 81, a resident of Albuquerque for 45 years, died on Wednesday, October 21, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Earl; sons, Michael L. Earl and wife, Lea, Terry L. Earl and wife, Sally, and Patrick R. Earl and wife, Laura; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and sister, Meta D. Gritsch. He was preceded in death by his son, Eugene N. Earl. Lt. Commander Earl served his country in the US Navy for 20 years during World War II, and the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the NAVY MARS and ARRL. Rosary will be recited Sunday, October 25, 1998, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE. Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 26, 1998, 10:30 a.m., at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE, with Father Joe Vigil, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
