Vargas -- Mary Frances Vargas, 54, has gone to rest in peace with her Lord. Her courageous battle against cancer ended with her death on Saturday, July 11, 1998. She is survived by her spouse, Refugio (Ray) Vargas; her children, Anna Ramirez and Vince Yadao, Marie Ramirez, Antoinette and Keith Green, Julian and Debbie Vargas, Rayette Vargas, Yvette Vargas and Jose Aguilar, Cindy Vargas, Susan Vargas and Adan Rojas, and Selina Vargas; father-in-law, Refugio Vargas Sr.; special aunts, Della, Reina and Teresa; her sisters and brother, Mary Gonzales, Roberta Mondragon, Betty Moya and Joe Moya. She has 19 loving and adoring grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Rosary will be said on Thursday, July 16, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. and a memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 17, 1998 at 10:00 a.m., both services will be held at St. Frances Xavier Church, 800 Broadway SE, Alb., NM 87102. Grandma"Hoppy", you will be greatly missed by all of us, especially by all your"Spoiled Brats." Cremation arrangements are by Sunrise Society of New Mexico, 891-8200.
