Fogle -- AMY STEELE FOGLE, 33, born Thursday, July 16, 1964, and a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, died on Tuesday, July 14, 1998. She is survived by her husband, Harvey M. Fogle of Cedar Crest, NM; parents, Walter and Elaine Steele of Albuquerque; sister, Kim Steele of Albuquerque; brother, Gary Steele and wife, Kris of Los Lunas, NM; mother and father-in-law, Harvey and Betty Fogle of Lexington, SC; brother-in-law, Bruce Fogle and wife, Christy; and sisters-in-law, Val Shirah and husband, Johnny, DeeDee Irwin and husband, Johnny, and Dodie Douglas and husband, Mike, all of Lexington, SC. Amy has now joined her brother, Mike, who preceded her to heaven. She was a graduate of Sandia High School, Class of 1982, and was employed as a cellular phone sales representative in Albuquerque for the past ten years. Amy and her husband loved being outdoors with their dogs, Yale and Candy. She especially loved spending time at the cabin at Conchas Lake. She was a caring and free-spirited individual who devoted her life to caring for those less fortunate than her, especially with her extended love for children. All that knew her know how much she loved life and how many lives she touched. Extra joy was brought to the person of the life she touched. Amy was loved by her family and will be missed more than words can say. Services will be held Friday, July 17, 1998, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Caldwell, Dennis Thwaits, Tryna Wilde, Reverdie Ater, Dana Kilgore and Stephen Triandafilidis. Cremation will take place following the services. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, 5301 Central NE, Suite 203, Albuquerque, NM 87108, or to the Animal Humane Association, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
