Berget -- Ronald W. Berget, born April 7, 1954 in Chicago, Il., died July 12, 1998 after a long illness. He was a finish carpenter, and enjoyed hunting, camping, wood and iron working. Ronald was a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, and was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Berget; and his sister, Jeanne Berget-Landeau, who died on June 30, 1998. He is survived by his son, Robert; his mother, Dorothy Berget; three sisters, Carol Bechtel and husband, Richard of Sunnyvale, Ca., Valerie Berget of Albuquerque, and Nancy Berget of Albuquerque; four brothers, Jim Berget of Farmington, Richard Berget and wife, Kim of Albuquerque, Kevin Berget and wife, Sandra of Edgewood, Norman Berget and wife, Sharon of Albuquerque; and numerous family and friends who will miss him. Memorial services will be at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy NE, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 1998, with Pastor Don Wilson officiating.
