Norwood -- David Norwood, 58, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, died Saturday, July 11, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Julia F. Norwood of Albuquerque; brothers, Jim Norwood and wife, Shirley of Houston, TX, Mike Norwood and wife, Cheri of Independence, MO, and Ed Norwood and wife, Marcia of Independence, MO; and many other family and friends. Mr. Norwood was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Marie; and his brother, Fred. He was an avid golfer and member of the New Mexico Seniors Golf Association. Mr. Norwood was a guitarist and photographer and he was an Electrical Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories for 20 years. He previously worked at the Bendix Corporation in Kansas City, MO. Mr. Norwood was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of I-EEE and IMAPS. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 1998, at 2:00 p.m. at Covenant Prebyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria Rd, NE with Dr. John H. Cushman officiating. Cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church for the Habitat for Humanity Project, 9315 Candelaria Rd, NE, 87112. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE.
