Tanner -- Yvonne Carol Tanner, 64, a resident of Rio Rancho and formerly of California, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 1999. Yvonne was born June 13, 1935 the daughter of Benito and Anita Ortez Baca in Los Angeles, California. She was very loving and caring, loved the outdoors and especially loved fishing. Yvonne is survived by her husband, John Dave Tanner; four children; Diane Hodge and husband, Jimmie of Roswell, NM, Julie Seifert and husband, Richard of Rio Rancho, Barbara Reed and husband, Jay of Fowlerton, TX, James Leatherman of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren, Samantha, Yvonne, Sara, Jeffrey, Ashley, and Lauren; and four great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be this morning, Thursday, December 30, 1999 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with The Rev. Christopher Pieroni as the celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Floral Garden Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Richard Seifert, Jay Reed, James Leatherman, and Phillip Smith. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, 5810 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, have been suggested. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
