Garcia -- Mrs. Josephine B. Garcia, 54, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away December 28, 1999. Survived by her loved ones Mrs. Garcia is the beloved wife of 26 years to Mr. Robert Garcia. She is also survived by one daughter, Renee Olivas and husband, Mark; and one son, Celso Garcia and girlfriend, Benetta; her mother, Della Maesteas; three sisters, Myrna D. Chavez, Ida Mae Abeyta and husband, Eugene and Mary Lou Salas; one brother, Daniel J. Maestas, all of Denver, CO; grandchildren, RaeAnn, Celso Jr. and Brianna; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin S.W., with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at San Martin Church with final viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Dan Farris, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Celso Garcia, Tony Chavez, Tony Garcia, Alejandro Hondo Chavez, George Garcia and Eugene Abeyta Jr. Honorary will be Tommy Garcia, Mark Olivas and Billy Abeyta. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
