Greene -- Crockett Greene, 83, a longtime resident of Albuquerque since 1943, died Saturday, December 25, 1999. He is survived by his daughter, Joy Hayes and husband, Ken; son, Edward Greene, all of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Angela and husband, Michael of Amarillo, TX and Starla; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Megan; and three sisters, Mozell Ankrom of Noble, OK, Gertie Thompson of Fairfield, CA and Gracie Kitrell of Carrollton, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Phil; and one sister, Margarite; his first wife, Lucille in 1984; and his second wife, Eunice in 1986. Mr. Greene was born on June 19, 1916 in Tishomingo, OK, the son of Phillip and Clady Greene. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Greene was retired from Civil Service at Kirtland Air Force Base. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 11:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Pastor Curtis Brown officiating. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
