Kimbrell -- Adelina"Nina" Kimbrell, 88, a nine year resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, November 7, 1999. She is survived by her children, James Kimbrell and wife, MaryLou of San Angelo, TX; daughters, Virginia Ontiveros of Bakersfield, CA, Alberta Solfisbury and husband, James of Aurora, IL, and Kathleen Reno and husband, Richard of Chattanooga, TN; sons, Michael Kimbrell and William Kimbrell and wife, Elsa, all of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mabel Vigil of El Paso, TX and Margaret Reed of Austin, TX; brother, Edward Holguin of Tempe, AZ; and sister, Ramona Dunore and husband, Bruce of Albuquerque. Mrs. Kimbrell was married for 53 years to Albert Kimbrell who preceded her in death. They lived on a farm in Picacho, NM in the Hondo Valley for many years. Mrs. Kimbrell was a member of the PTA and the school board and she drove the school bus for Hondo Valley Public Schools for 35 years. When she moved to Albuquerque, she lived in the Three Fountains Apartment Complex until February of this year when she moved to Las Colinas Village. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, November 10, 1999, 6:30 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont Ave. NE, with Deacon Pilar Garcia reciting. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 11, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont Ave. NE, with Father Johnny Lee Chavez, Celebrant. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 12, 1999 10:00 a.m., at Picacho Cemetery in Picacho, NM, with Rev. Colman Heffern officiating. Pallbearers will be Patrick Kimbrell, Edward Kimbrell, Charles Ontiveros, James Kimbrell, Michael Kimbrell, and William Kimbrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Holguin and Arnold Montoya. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, in charge of arrangements.
