Duke -- Dorothy L. Duke, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Sunday, October 24, 1999. She is survived by her son, Duane A. Schiff and wife, Dee of Albuquerque; daughter, Mary Jo Dowdy and husband, Marvin of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dayton M. Schiff; second husband, Wylie Duke, Sr.; son, Dale Schiff; three sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Duke was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She also was a member of the Women's Golf League at Puerta Del Sol. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Pastor Luther Mathsen officiating. Pallbearers will be David Schiff, Thomas Nethery, Lynn Nethery and Marvin Dowdy. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Thomas, Mark Thomas and Dayton Schiff.
