Otero -- Rudy Anthony Otero, 35, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, October 9, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Marie Otero; children, Jamie, Rudi and Casey; father and mother, Roger and Irene Padilla; brother, David Otero and wife, Esther; sisters, Gloria Baca and husband, Richard, Kathy Quintana and husband, Richard, Denise Otero and Fran Vigil; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Louisa Glanz; sister-in-law, Crucita"Tita" Clinton and husband, Mark; brother-in-law, Ruben Witka; friend and"brother", Jimmy McDonald; numerous friends from Section F at the Lobos Football Stadium; and dog, MaiTai. Mr. Otero served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Arkansas. Services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at God's House Church, 2335 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Bishop Michael L. Shelby officiating. Cremation will take place following the services. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and God's House Church, Thursday, 12:00 noon to the time of service. The family requests that those attending please wear either New Mexico Lobos or Dallas Cowboy clothing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in c/o the Rudy Otero family at any 1st State Bank location. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
