Mitchell -- Beulah"Mimi" Mitchell, 83, a longtime resident of Truth or Consequences, NM, died Monday, October 11, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Rusty Mitchell and wife, Shayleen of Albuquerque and Homer Lee Mitchell and wife, Nina of Upland, CA; brother, Jim Duncan and wife, Barbara of Apple Valley, CA; sister, Dorothy Nichols and husband, Nick of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Homer Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell was born June 12, 1916 in Eaton, Colorado. She retired as houseparent at Mesa Girl's Home, Mesa, AZ, and Leroy Boy's Home in LaVerne, CA. Mother loved to cook and loved her family. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Dave Repp officiating. Pallbearers will be Earl Brown, Tim Brown, Mark Brown, Rusty Mitchell II, and Revi Don Pexa. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
