Gurule -- Henry L. Gurule, 65, a beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 9, 1999. Mr. Gurule was born on July 15, 1934 to the late Gregorio and Estella Gurule. He was a life long resident of Albuquerque and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Frank Gurule; two brothers, Pete and Mele Gurule. He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Gurule of the family home; his children, Loretta Lucero and husband, Val, Henry Gurule Jr. and wife, Margaret, Greg Gurule, Jeremy Gurule, Jonathan Gurule, Sam Gurule and wife, Patty, Lewis Gurule and wife, Anna, Joseph Coniff, Cathy Olivas and husband, Joe, Becky Gurule, Stephanie Gurule and Gloria Montoya; 25 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Juan Gurule and wife, Chonita, Ernesto Gurule and wife, Cathy; three sisters, Maria Gurule, Alvina Mora and husband, Manuel and Lenore Ramirez and husband, Joe. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Eric Lucero, Daniel Lucero, Greg Gurule, Jonathan Gurule, Anthony Gurule and Joe Olivas. Funeral Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W.
