Zubia -- Paula Pauline Zubia, 87, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, died November 18, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Robert Zubia and wife, Edna and Alvino Zubia and wife, Erin; daughters, Helen Gutierrez, Tina Montoya, Carmen Chavez and husband, Eddie, and Consuelo Swan and husband, Manuel; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Baca; brother, Joe Ortega and wife, Clara; and family and friends who loved and will miss her. A special thanks to Presbyterian Hospice staff and special nieces, Letesia Baca and Connie Lujan. Services will be held at Living Water Church, 7002 Acoma SE, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 1999, funeral at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, and burial following at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Gutierrez, Paul Montoya, Richard Zubia, Anthony Chavez, Igancio Lujan, and Carlos Swan. Honorary pallbearers will be Mario Gomez and Gabriel Zubia.
