Sanchez -- Christopher Michael Sanchez, 15, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, November 8, 1999. He is survived by his parents, Ron and Barbara Sanchez of the family home; brother, Gabriel Sanchez; grandmother, Dolores Moquino of Santa Domingo Pueblo; grandfather, Michael Twining and wife, Barbara of Corrales; grandmother, Frances Sanchez of Albuquerque; grandfather, Arthur Sanchez and wife, Jean, both of Albuquerque; great-grandmother, Martha C. Hilton of Rancho Santa Fe, CA; six aunts; four uncles; and 25 cousins. Christopher attended Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. He was a sophomore at Highland High School. Christopher loved to play football and baseball. He was an avid, loyal Dodger fan and his dream was to become a professional baseball player. Christopher loved his dog, Milo. He was a loving son, brother and grandson, and he will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends at Highland High School. Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 12, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee NE, Father Michael Cimino, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Richard Madrid Jr., Andrew Benavidez, Joseph Hernandez, Vincent Gravengood, Arnold Moreno, and Jacob Ortiz. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Benavidez, Lawrence Benavidez, Zachary Moquino, and Orlando Flores. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
