Bauer -- Donald F. Bauer, 76, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, February 26, 1999. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and was survived by daughters, Donna Bauer of Albuquerque and Kathleen Done and husband, James of West Des Moines, IA; sons, Richard Bauer and John Bauer of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Paul Done and wife, Imelda of San Bernardino, CA, Kerrie Done of San Francisco, CA, Meredith Done, James Done and Adam Done of West Des Moines, IA and Evan Bauer of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Andrew Done and Timothy Done of San Bernadino, CA; and sisters, Rita Richter of Omaha, NE and Betty Prien and husband, Ray, of Ft. Stockton, TX. Mr. Bauer was preceded in death by his three wives, Virginia, Lona and Bernice. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Bauer was very proud of his service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a chief clerk and retired after 37 years. He was a member of American Legion Post #99, American Legion Post #13, and John XXIII Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 1999 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 1, 1999, 11:00 a.m., John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE with Father Arkad Biczak, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until the Rosary. Pallbearers will be Paul Done, James Done, Adam Done, Lewis Lee, and Craig Olsen. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Bauer's name to the National Kidney Foundation of New Mexico, 4919 Prospect Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
