Randall -- Stephen D. Randall, age 38, resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died February 1999. He is survived by his mother, Joan W. Russell; his father, Donald C. Russell; four sisters; one brother; six nieces and two nephews, with whom he enjoyed playing cards and telling stories. Steve was employed by Dieters German Car Specialists. He was an accomplished singer, winning competitions and playing leads during and after high school. He also raced cars; holding office with the Albuquerque Chapter of the Sports Car Club of America. He has won national recognition for Auto-Cross and has been Regional Champion several times. Steve also worked corners at various racing venues and often taught his skills. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE with Rico Saavedra presiding. Instead of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
