Prokosch -- Donald H. Prokosch, 62, passed away unexpectedly on August 25. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; sons, Matt and Mark, both of Albuquerque; brother, Bill of Livermore, CA; his mother-in-law, Martha Brown of Albuquerque; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Donna Rehm of Saranac Lake, NY; seven nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and nephews. Don was born in Albuquerque to William and Gertrude Prokosch. He was working for the Gardner Zemke Company where he was a faithful and longtime employee. Don was a charter member of Sandia Presbyterian Church. Viewing will be held at Fitzgerald & Son, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE, Friday, August 27, from 3:00 p.m., with family visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 28, 11:00 a.m., at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo del Norte NE, with the Rev. Dewey Johnson officiating. Pallbearers are Matt Prokosch, Mark Prokosch, Bill Prokosch, George Rehm, David Prokosch, Mike Prokosch. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be made to Sandia Presbyterian Church. Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE, in charge of arrangements.
