Roland -- Clara Arlene Roland, age 69, of Milan, NM, passed away at her home, Saturday, August 21. Mrs. Roland was born March 29, 1930 in Alliance, Nebraska to John Joseph Brennan and Palos Susan Brennan. Survivors include her husband, Joe Roland of Milan, NM; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kathy Christensen of Albuquerque; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Karen Christensen of Mifflinburg, PA; daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Pat Magirl of Lake Jackson, TX; and six grandchildren. Parents, John and Palos Brennan; brothers, Jack and Frank Brennan; and sister, Betty Phillips preceded her in death. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at Immanuel Baptist Church, 518 Valencia St., Milan, NM, with Rev. Garland Moore officiating. Interment of the cremains will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Grants Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
