Vallejos -- Faye C. Vallejos, 71, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was called home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 24, 1999. Mrs. Vallejos was born in El Bosque, NM; a resident of Los Lunas; and a member of the Hosanna Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles P. Cave on June 6, 1991. She is survived by her loving husband of three years, Gilbert J. Vallejos of the family home; her loving children, Jim Cave and wife, Christine, Debra Chavez and husband, Cristobal, Donna Ortiz and Deana Gurule; step-children, Corrine Vallejos, Alvin Vallejos, Sylvia Sanchez and husband, Nick, and Jerry Vallejos; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Barbartia Gurule and husband, Damacio; one brother, Joe Gonzales and wife, Lydia; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, November 30, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Adrian Harper officiating in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on the corner of 8th and Iron. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hosanna Assembly of God Church, 2535 Park Lane Dr., Bosque Farms, NM 87068. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
