Ulivarri -- Narciso N. Ulivarri, 76, a resident of Pueblitos, NM, peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday morning, September 19, 1999. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He retired form the A.T. & S.F. Railroad in 1983 after 30 years of outstanding service. Narciso was a strong family man and his life revolved around his wife of 52 years, Nora and his fourteen children. He is survived by his wife, Nora, of the family home in Pueblitos; his daughters, Dolores Gutierrez and her husband, Orlando of Belen, Theresa Berni and her husband, William of Los Lunas, Paula Gabaldon and her husband, Anthony of Pueblitos, Sharon Olguin and her husband, Vincent of Albuquerque; his sons, Arthur, Norbert, Daniel and Joe Leo, all of Pueblitos, and Rafael and his wife, Carmen of Las Cruces; 35 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert and his wife, Bennie of Belen and Ralph Jr. and his wife, Vivian of Barstow, CA; one sister, Reina Ulivarri of Riverside, CA; two sisters-in-law, Julia Ulivarri of Barstow, CA and Christina Ulivarri of Riverside, CA. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Canuta Ulivarri; four sons, Eugene in 1958, Michael in 1959, Narciso Jr. and David Lorenzo in 1990; one daughter, Martha Dent in 1991; one grandson, Orlando Gutierrez Jr. in 1977; and three brothers, Ernesto Daniel and Rosendo. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main, Belen.
