Garcia -- Mr. Michael A. Garcia died Monday in Albuquerque at the age of 44. Michael is survived by his parents, Telesfor and Rita Garcia; brother, Alex T. Garcia and wife, Yvonne (Bonnie); niece, Alexandra Garcia; and nephew, Joseph Garcia. Funeral services for Michael will be held on Friday at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Garcia, Michael Gallegos, Ernest Garcia, Chris Quintana and Gilbert Leehugn. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Chavez, Mike Lovato, Chris Gallegos and Gary Palacio. Visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Arrangements by the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
