Vermillion -- Arvesta K. Vermillion, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Saturday, September 4, 1999. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ivan W. Vermillion of the family home; daughter-in-law, Ruth Vermillion; grandsons, Roy Vermillion of Ruckersville, VA, and Jack Vermillion and wife, Nancy of Albuquerque; two great-grandsons, Brandon and Jordon Vermillion; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, James (Jim) Vermillion; parents, Elmer and Mary Keller; five brothers; and five sisters. Mrs. Vermillion was born on January 1, 1912 to Elmer and Mary Keller. She married Ivan W. Vermillion, December 27, 1930 in Toledo, IL. She was a Department Manager at Sears until her retirement in 1977. Mrs. Vermillion was a member of the Extension Club in Toledo, IL and also in Albuquerque. She was a member of Sandia Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE, with Dr. Robert Butler officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Monday, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
