Barreras -- Tiburcio P. Barreras Sr. passed away October 4, 1999 at the Veteran's Retirement Center in T or C, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elvira. He is survived by daughter, Maria L. Barreras; six sons, David, Frank and wife, Barbara, Martin, Tiburico Jr., Jose Lopez and wife, Eileen, and Dionisco Lopez; grandchildren, Mark Lopez Rhonda, Michael Lopez, Ray Lopez, Tiburcio Barreras Jr., Elvira Ann Gifford, John and Jonah Barreras, Audrey Barreras, Barbara Ann, Ana Marie and Sharon Barreras; two great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Rosary will be recited Thursday, October 7, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with interment at 1:30 p.m., Santa Fe National Cemetery.
